Connect Payroll System


You can connect your payroll system directly from the Profile page in TRS Express. This allows you to sync payroll data for generating Total Rewards Statements. If you need to reconnect your payroll system to refresh your data, you can follow the same steps.

Steps to Connect Your Payroll System

1. Go to Add Connection Module

    • The Add Connection Module can be accessed either in your profile under “Your Payroll System” or when reaching the “Data Mapping” step within a project.

2. Accept the Finch Agreement

3. Log Into Your Payroll Provider

    • For most payroll providers, you will be prompted to log in directly through the payroll system connector.
    • Enter your credentials and grant access to TRS Express.

4. Complete Any Additional Steps

    • Some payroll providers may require extra steps such as:
      • Granting permissions in your payroll provider’s settings.
      • Emailing your payroll provider to approve the connection.
      • Verifying authentication with an admin account.
    • If your payroll system requires additional steps, click on “Finch’s Instructions” to see step by step instructions on how to connect your system.
    • Some systems may take between 1-5 business days to connect depending on the steps required.

5. Confirm the Connection
